Jim started his Real Estate career in 2000.  Having worked under two different local brokerages in Celina as a sales agent, Jim obtained his Ohio Real Estate Broker’s license in 2003 and started his own company, Jim Shaffer Realty L.L.C.  With 25 years of Real Estate sales and experience, Jim Shaffer Realty has handled over 850 sales of homes and farmland in the West Central Ohio area. Getting someone who knows the area and it’s people, makes Jim a valuable piece of the puzzle.  Jim grew up in a family run automobile business in the mid ’70’s started by his grandfather, Henry Drake and father, Max Shaffer back in the late 1940’s, that eventually ran into the mid 1990’s.  Customer service was the main vocal point that made the business successful for all those years, and Jim has carried that business model over into his Real Estate company.  “With all the local Brokerages we have in the area, you have to provide a better service than your competitors, and I feel we’ve been able to do that”.  We’re not an 8:00 to 5:00 office.  “You have to make yourself available to folks when they have time to look”.   Whether buying or selling, give Jim a call, use his expertise and knowledge of the local real estate market to benefit your decision making, on what most likely will be the most important and most expensive purchase you will make in your lifetime. 

Our offices are open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday by appointment.  A Real Estate Broker that gives you “Full Time Service” when you need it the most.
