Zoning Regulations for Union Township. Union Township Zoning Codes. The Union Township Zoning Code has been revised to include ammendments that will have an influence on future building lots within the Township. The revised code is effective as of Jan. 1, 2006. a general outline of the ammended regulations are listed below.
-Lot Size for dwelling is increased from 1 acre to 2 acres.
-Minimum road frontage is increased from 150 feet to 175 feet.
-Regulations regarding the drainage of new lots, lot splits.
-Addition of Flood Plain Regulations.
-Mobile homes to be set on foundation, and includes tie-downs.
-Mobile homes that are permitted as a dwelling may not be older than three years old.
-Mobile homes presently within the Township may not be relocated as a dwelling if older than three years.
-Fee for building permit application $50.00.
-Fee for variance application $75.00.
-Fee for change of Zoning District Designation $250.00.
